Therapeutic Yoga for Breast Cancer Survivors:
A weekly yoga group for breast cancer survivors. The class
provides social support, education in
relaxation and stress management, and increases self-awareness
and self-esteem related to body image issues.

Among Women at High Risk for Breast Cancer:
The program provides genetic

Bosom Buddies of Georgia:
Provides low-cost mammograms to help the medically underserved
low income women. Program provides screening, and diagnostic
mammograms as well as breast ultrasounds to women who are
unemployed, uninsured, or have a very high deductible.

This program meets a specific community need which is to provide
diagnostic workup for women who have had a

participating in their overall health with the goal of reducing
cancer risks and increasing the number of women screened for

Educating the Cancer Patient:
Variety of programs such as Frankly Speaking, Ask the Doctor,
and Nutrition workshops, answer questions about treatment, side
effects, and long term family issues such as genetic
counseling.

Return to Wellness:
A free of charge ten-week, twenty session program for women who
are one year or less post-treatment for breast cancer. Each
session includes one hour of yoga or strength training, and one
hour of education and group support.

Living Fully with Advanced Breast Cancer:
This project is a support and education program for women who
have metastatic breast cancer or a recurrence of breast cancer.

Support and educational material designed specifically for newly
diagnosed young women under the age of 40. The kit includes a
